I use a variety of steels and handle materials in creating my custom knives.
1084 and 15n20 are my preference when making damascus; other blade steels I use are 52100, A2, ATS 34 and S30V. I personally heat treat all my custom knives.
I like the look of natural materials such as ivory, desert ironwood, stag and pearl, but I also use G-10, carbon fiber and other materials.
I make fixed blades, but folders are my specialty, including locking liners, slipjoints, lockbacks and double-action autos.
Engraving, handmade indexed screws and file work are just some of the aesthetic details you’ll see in my knives.
MV2 CUSTOM-TECH LINE
ln 2012, I started my MV2 Custom-Tech Line. The first of the series was my ZipSlip — a one-handed opening slipjoint. I designed the ZipSlip for the European market as many countries don’t allow locking knives to be carried, amongst other restrictions.
Since then, I have added other folder and fixed blade designs and plan to continue to add to the collection.
The knives shown in the Custom Gallery are a selection of styles and designs that represent the types of knives I make.
The MV2 Gallery displays the series currently in production including customized versions.
For knives available today, check out the section below.
If you see any of the designs on this site you would like to discuss or would like to know more about, please feel free to call or shoot me an email, as I do take orders.
